It’s Michael Parker’s dedication and steady guidance over the past 15 years that has helped shaped LMS Energy’s Queensland portfolio into what it is today.
Starting as an operator in Queensland, he’s grown into his role as State Operations Manager, now overseeing multiple power stations and flare sites across Queensland. His role is about more than keeping systems running – it’s about guiding people, navigating challenges and setting teams up to succeed.
“Every day is different,” Michael says. “There are challenges, but there are also a lot of rewarding moments. I feel lucky to work with such a capable and committed group of people.”
That focus on people sits at the centre of how he leads.

“When I first joined LMS Energy, I never imagined I’d be in this role,” he reflects. “The support and focus on development have made a huge difference – not just for me, but for a lot of people here.”
Outside of work, Michael brings that same energy into everything he does – from sailing and mountain biking to motorsport. It’s a mindset that carries through to how he leads: stay active, stay engaged and keep moving forward.
