OUR PURPOSE

01 / 03

To protect the environment

Methane is one of the most potent greenhouse gases on the planet. We capture it, destroy it, and turn it into clean energy, reducing millions of tonnes of emissions every year. Protecting the environment isn’t a side effect of what we do. It’s the reason we exist.

02 / 03

To be a great company for our people, our clients and the community

At LMS, everything starts with relationships. And relationships are built on trust. Trust comes from showing up, doing the right thing, and choosing what’s right over what’s easy – every time. That’s how we’ve built LMS, and it’s how we continue to operate today: putting people and partnerships ahead of short‑term commercial outcomes, because that’s what creates lasting impact.

03 / 03

To challenge the status quo through innovation

We pioneered the capture of biogas for energy use in 1982, and we haven’t stopped pushing since. From solar on landfill to renewable natural gas, we back new ideas and take them further. If there’s a better way to abate methane, we’ll find it.

Principles that guide everything we do
