Lyle Mander has seen LMS Energy grow from a team of 25 employees into a national operation with 300 staff – and he’s been part of every stage along the way.
Starting as an Operator in Queensland, he now leads as Group Manager – Operations, supporting teams across the business to work safely, effectively and with confidence.
His role is about more than operations – it’s about setting people up for success.
Lyle is known for his hands-on leadership style, working alongside his team and supporting them through challenges as they arise.
“He’s someone you can always rely on,” one colleague says. “He doesn’t just lead, he gets involved.”
That approach has helped build strong teams and a positive culture, even through periods of rapid growth and change.
Colleagues also speak to his genuine care for people. “He looks out for his team, both at work and beyond,” one teammate shares.
Reflecting on his 20 years at LMS, Lyle expresses a deep sense of pride and loyalty.
Looking back at where we started and seeing how far we’ve come is incredible. Working with such talented individuals has made LMS feel like more than just a workplace; it’s become a family.
But the most rewarding part of the journey has been watching others grow.
“Seeing people develop into skilled professionals and leaders has been a highlight,” he says.
