THE POWER GROUP HAS CORE COMPETENCIES IN MAINTAINING AND MAXIMISING AVAILABILITY OF GAS AND GENERATION OF ENERGY Operation and maintenance services for power generation facilities are managed by the Power Group. This group provides complimentary services to the other LMS groups, and ensures the quality of service provided during construction activities continues through to the project operational phase.
The LMS Power Group manage electrical generation facilities that collect approximately 150 million cubic meters per year of landfill gas, generate over 230,000 MWh's of renewable energy, which collectively provide abatement of approx 1 million tonnes of greenhouse gases from the atmosphere each year. Power generation maintenance services are provided by experienced and qualified professionals twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Computerised and on-line monitoring capabilities ensure maximum operational hours and environmental compliance.
A core part of the company’s business strategy is to have an integrated project construction and operational capability, ensuring practices and procedures comply with current regulations. Company resources allow design, construction and operation to be carried out internally.
Operators and technicians in the Power Group provide the expertise for all mechanical and electrical maintenance. A high standard of workmanship has provided an impeccable environmental and safety record, whilst achieving efficient fuel delivery and optimum energy production. Locally based technicians, backed by a network of Australia’s most experienced gas and energy professionals, ensures proven, reliable operational techniques.
