The core expertise of the Energy Group is the utilisation of landfill gas, bio gas and coal seam methane in internal combustion engines to produce electricity and other waste heat bi-products. The group is responsible for managing all approval and technical compliance matters pertaining to power generation facilities. LMS has successfully designed, engineered and constructed numerous projects that have incorporated its own brand of power generation and co-generation packages. All LMS power generation modules are unique in design configuration and are available in various kilowatt export capacities.
All models of the LMS power generation fleet are housed in acoustic enclosures, are fully automated and capable of being operated predominately as unmanned remote facilities. Each module can be configured to operate as an individual or combined application and are capable of exporting in both grid and island application.
