Oct 2009 LMS Increases Tasmanian Export The capacity of the existing landfill gas fuelled generation facility at the Remount Landfill in Launceston was doubled this month. Increased output from the facility will be sold into the local electricity grid and will provide enough base load electricity to power an average of 3,000 homes 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.Back to Renewable Energy Generation |
